Cervix Head Contractions Vagina Process Labour Birth Good

The uterus contracts rhythmically, becoming stronger and more frequent; the cervix dilates gradually, and contractions are assisted by abdominal muscles; the amniotic sac breaks, and contractions push the baby's head through the cervix and vagina.

Livmoderen trækker sig rytmisk sammen, bliver stærkere og hyppigere; livmoderhalsen udvider sig gradvist, og veerne assisteres af mavemusklerne; fostervandet brydes; sammentrækninger presser babyens hoved ud.

Front What is the process of labour and birth? (Good luck, this one is long)
Back At the beginning, the uterus will contract rhythmically, becoming stronger and more frequent
The cervix will gradually dilate enough to let the babies head pass through and the contractions become assisted by the abdominal muscles as well.
At some stage the amniotic sac will break and the fluid will escape through the vagina (water breaking).
Finally, contractions will push the baby's head through the cervix and vagina.
