| Back | One half of the strand is removed and transcripted into RNA and transported away by messenger RNA (mRNA). This is small enough to exit the nucleus. It will then attach itself to a ribosome and transport RNA (tRNA) will bind to a base trio, on the other side of tRNA is an amino acid. Once a gene has been fully attached to, the amino acids also bind and become a protein. |
