Lower Classes Working Expected Serve Upper Treated Young

Question the lower classes were expected to serve the upper classes
Answer one class was better than the other, and had to be treated as such. The lower classes, particularly young girls from working class families, got jobs as maids or servants in wealthier households. The poor earned their money by working for the rich. Often, their wages were small.
