Affinity Increase Specific Antigen Antibodies Produced Adaptive Immune

The process where antibodies generated during an adaptive immune response gradually increase their binding strength (affinity) to their specific antigen, becoming more effective, especially after repeated exposure to the antigen.

The increase in affinity for their specific antigen of the antibodies produced as an adaptive immune response progresses. This phenomenon is particularly prominent in secondary and subsequent immunizations refers to affinity maturation. It describes how antibodies become more effective at binding to their target antigen over time, especially during re-exposure to the same antigen.
