The B-cell co-receptor complex is a transmembrane signaling receptor on the B-cell surface composed of CD19, CD81, and CR2 (CD21), which enhances antigen responsiveness when co-ligated with the B-cell receptor.
El complejo co-receptor de células B es un receptor de señalización transmembrana en la superficie de las células B, compuesto por CD19, CD81 y CR2 (CD21), que potencia la respuesta al antígeno al co-regularse con el BCR.
Front | A transmembrane signaling receptor on the B-cell surface composed of the proteins CD19, CD81, and CD21 complement receptor 2, which binds complement fragments on bacterial antigens also bound by the B-cell receptor. Co-ligation of this complex with the B-cell receptor increases responsiveness to antigen about 100-fold |
