Cell Occurs Process Death Response Noxious Stimuli Nutrient

Necrosis is cell death occurring in response to noxious stimuli such as nutrient deprivation, physical injury, or infection, and is distinguished from apoptosis, which is an intrinsic cell death program.

La necrosis es la muerte celular que ocurre en respuesta a estímulos dañinos como la privación de nutrientes, una lesión física o una infección, y se distingue de la apoptosis, que es un programa de muerte celular intrínseco.

Front The process of cell death that occurs in response to noxious stimuli, such as nutrient deprivation, physical injury, or infection. To be distinguished from apoptosis, in which the cell activates an internal, or intrinsic, program of death, such as occurs in immune cells as a result of deficiency of cell survival signals
