Humanized Antibody α4 Integrin Treat Crohns Disease Multiple

Natalizumab is a humanized antibody to α4 integrin used to treat Crohn's disease and multiple sclerosis, blocking lymphocyte adhesion to endothelium and impairing their migration into tissues.

Natalizumab is een gehumaniseerd antilichaam tegen α4-integrine dat wordt gebruikt om de ziekte van Crohn en multiple sclerose te behandelen. Het blokkeert de adhesie van lymfocyten aan het endotheel, waardoor hun migratie naar weefsels wordt belemmerd.
