Inositol Kinase Transcription Factor Soluble Messenger Produced Cleavage

Front A soluble second messenger produced by the cleavage of membrane inositol phospholipids by phospholipase C-γ. It acts on receptors in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane, resulting in the release of stored Ca, 2+, into the cytosol inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate IP, 3A protein kinase that phosphorylates the transcription factor c-Jun, enabling it to bind to c-Fos to form the AP-1 transcription factor
