Light Chain Smaller Types Polypeptide Make Immunoglobulin Molecule

The light chain (L chain) is the smaller of the two polypeptide chains in an immunoglobulin molecule. It comprises one V and one C domain, is disulfide-bonded to the heavy chain, and exists in two classes: κ and λ.

La cadena ligera, también conocida como L chain, es la más pequeña de las dos cadenas polipeptídicas que forman una molécula de inmunoglobulina. Consta de un dominio V y un dominio C, se une a la cadena pesada mediante un enlace disulfuro, y tiene dos clases (κ y λ).
