Bronchus-associated lymphoid tissue (BALT) is organized lymphoid tissue found in the bronchi of some animals. While typically absent in adult humans, it can be present in infants and children within the respiratory tract.
Tejido linfoide organizado que se encuentra en los bronquios de algunos animales. Los humanos adultos normalmente no tienen dicho tejido linfoide organizado en el tracto respiratorio, pero puede estar presente en algunos bebés y niños.
