Phospholipase C-γ (PLC-γ) is a key enzyme in intracellular signaling pathways activated by membrane recruitment and tyrosine phosphorylation after receptor ligation, cleaving membrane inositol phospholipids into inositol trisphosphate and diacylglycerol.
