Mhc Cd4 Polymorphic Cell Surface Proteins Encoded Locus Expressed

MHC class II molecules are polymorphic cell-surface proteins found on antigen-presenting cells. They present extracellular pathogen-derived peptides to CD4 T cells and bind to the CD4 co-receptor.

Las proteínas polimórficas de la superficie celular codificadas en el locus del MHC se expresan principalmente en células especializadas presentadoras de antígenos. Presentan péptidos antigénicos derivados de patógenos extracelulares internalizados a las células T CD4 y también se unen al co-receptor CD4.
