Neutrophils are the most numerous type of white blood cell. They are phagocytic cells with a multilobed nucleus and granules that stain with neutral stains, responsible for engulfing and killing extracellular pathogens in infected tissues.
Neuronófilos são o tipo mais numeroso de glóbulos brancos no sangue. São células fagocíticas, com núcleo multilobulado e grânulos que coram com corantes neutros, e são responsáveis por engolfar e matar patógenos extracelulares em tecidos infectados.
