Cyclosporin A (CsA) is a potent noncytotoxic immunosuppressive drug that inhibits T-cell receptor signaling by binding cyclophilin, with the resulting complex inactivating calcineurin and blocking T-cell activation and function.
Front | A powerful noncytotoxic immunosuppressive drug that inhibits signaling from the T-cell receptor, preventing T-cell activation and effector function. It binds to cyclophilin, and the complex formed binds to and inactivates the phosphatase calcineurin |
