Treatment Antibody Linked Enzyme Metabolizes Nontoxic Pro Drug Active

Antibody-directed enzyme/pro-drug therapy (ADECT) is a treatment where an antibody is linked to an enzyme that metabolizes a nontoxic pro-drug into an active cytotoxic drug.

ADECT staat voor Antibody-Directed Enzyme/Pro-drug Therapy, een behandeling waarbij een antilichaam is gekoppeld aan een enzym dat een niet-toxische pro-drug omzet in een actieve cytotoxische drug.
