DNA vaccination involves vaccination by introducing plasmid DNA encoding the desired antigen into the skin and muscle, allowing the expressed protein to elicit antibody and T-cell responses.
DNA-vaccinatie is vaccinatie door introductie in de huid en spieren van DNA dat codeert voor het gewenste antigeen. Het tot expressie gebrachte eiwit kan vervolgens antilichaam- en T-celresponsen opwekken.
