Aliens Acts Led Control Immigration Britain Passed Allowed

Front Which were the first acts that led to the control of immigration in Britain?
Back The Aliens Act, passed in 1905, allowed the Home Secretary power to refuse entry to immigrants. It was the first act aimed at controlling immigration.
The Aliens Restriction Acts of 1914 and 1919 were extensions of this act, initially put forward to deal with the threat of enemy aliens during WWI.
