Back Compounding. Words like alcopop and netrepreuner have been created through blending.
The nominalisation of phrasal verbs is also popular e.g. 'to black out' becomes 'a blackout', 'to sit down' becomes 'a nice sit down'
Also, affixation is popular e.g. un-American, contractee, burglarize, hospitalise
Use of acronyms, especially organisation e.g. UN, EU
