primacy effect - perceiver models a targets's behavior based upon their first impression of a situation  
recency effect - perceiver models a targets's behavior based upon their most recent impression of a situation
reliance on central traits - perceiver organizes perception of targets based upon most relevant traits to the situation
implicit personality theory - perceiver projecting their own beliefs onto targets through impression formation & make assumptions about how their traits & behaviors are related
stereotyping - assumptions about the target based upon a category they have been placed

Halo effect - perceiver overlooks faults of target they like
just world hypothesis - perceiver believes target will get what they deserve
