Signal Identified Stimulus Response Correctly Falsely Trial Presented

Text
Signal Detection Theory:

1) Response bias - nonsensory factor elicits response
2) correct negative: signal correctly not identified
3) false alarm - signal falsely identified
4) miss - signal falsely not identified
5) hit - signal correctly identified
6) noise trial - signal not presented
7) catch trial - signal presented
8) Adaptation - difference threshold required to elicit a response increases
9) Physiological stimulus - receptors stop firing due to prolonged stimulus
10) Psychological stimulus - receptors stop firing due to new stimulus, reversed by informing stimulus exists
