Cells Tenets Theory Basic Unit Structure Life Living

The 3 (or 4) tenets of cell theory are: 1. the cell is the basic unit of structure in life, 2. all living organisms are composed of cells, 3. all cells come from preexisting cells, and (optionally) 4. cells carry genetic information (DNA) that is passed from parent to daughter cells.
