Phase Bacteria Replicating Bacterial Growth Environment Exponential Curve

Text The four phases of the bacterial growth curve include lag phase, exponential phase, stationary phase, and death phase
Extra

Lag phase: the bacteria is adjusting to the environment and not replicating
Exponential phase: the bacteria are replicating with exponential (not linear) growth
Stationary phase: there are fewer resources available for the bacteria to use, so they are replicating just enough to prevent a decline
Death phase: the environment is now longer capable of supporting the bacterial population
