Repair Excision Abbreviated Dna Mismatch Enzymes Detect/Remove Replication

Text
mismatch repair is done by enzymes which detect/remove replication errors that were missed during the S phase of the cell cycle.
nucleotide excision repair abbreviated NER is the process by which thymine dimers are extracted from DNA and replaced by functioning DNA molecules
base excision repair detect non-helix-distorting mutations in base's and remove them with a glycoslyase enzyme, which leaves behind an apurinic/apyrimidinic abbreviated AP or abasic site, which is then recognized by an AP endonuclease that removes the damaged sequence from the DNA.
