LipoOligoSaccharide (LOS) is found in Neisseria, similar to LPS in enteric gram-negative rods, and can cause sepsis, cutaneous petechiae, hemorrhagic bullae, and Waterhouse-Friderichsen Syndrome (bilateral adrenal cortical hemorrhage).
