Effluent Passed Give Process Biological Treatment Sewage Primary

The biological treatment of sewage involves passing the primary effluent into large aeration tanks where it is pumped with air and mechanically agitated to allow floc growth. The effluent is then passed into a settlement tank, with the sediment being activated sludge (secondary effluent).
