The effects of marasmus include stunted growth, tissue degradation, severe emaciation, limb thinness, dry skin, decreased growth rate and weight, and impaired cognitive development.
Marasmus effects include impaired growth and tissue protein replacement, extreme emaciation, thin limbs, dry/wrinkled skin, reduced growth rate and body weight, and impaired brain development and mental faculties.
