Microspores Formed Arranged Cluster Four/Number Cells–The Tetrad Anthers

Microspores form in clusters of four (tetrads) and, as anthers mature and dehydrate, they separate and develop into pollen grains.

Text The microspores, as they are formed, are arranged in a cluster of four::number cells–the microspore tetrad . As the anthers mature and dehydrate, the microspores dissociate from each other and develop into pollen grains.
