Plant Body Haploid Produces Gametes Mitosis Represents Gametophyte

The haploid plant body produces gametes via mitosis and represents the gametophyte. Following fertilization, the zygote also divides by mitosis to produce a diploid sporophytic plant body.

El cuerpo vegetal haploide produce gametos por mitosis y representa el gametofito. Tras la fertilización, el cigoto se divide por mitosis para formar un cuerpo vegetal diploide (esporofito).
