The inner wall of the pollen grain is the intine, a thin, continuous layer of cellulose and pectin. Mature pollen grains contain two cells: a larger vegetative cell and a smaller generative cell.
La parete interna del granulo pollinico è chiamata intina. È uno strato sottile e continuo fatto di cellulosa e pectina. Il citoplasma del granulo pollinico è circondato da una membrana plasmatica.
