Zygote Life Cycle Organisms Haploid Development Depends Type

Zygote development depends on the organism's life cycle and environment; fungi and algae form resistant zygote walls, resting before germination. In haplontic life cycles, zygotes undergo meiosis to form haploid spores.

L'ulteriore sviluppo dello zigote dipende dal tipo di ciclo vitale che l'organismo ha e dall'ambiente a cui è esposto. Negli organismi appartenenti a funghi e alghe, lo zigote sviluppa una spessa parete resistente alla disidratazione e ai danni. Subisce un periodo di riposo prima della germinazione. Negli organismi con ciclo vitale aplontico, lo zigote si divide per meiosi per formare spore aploidi che crescono in individui aploidi.

In organisms belonging to fungi and algae, zygote develops a thick wall that is resistant to dessication and damage. It undergoes a period of rest before germination. In organisms with haplontic life cycle , zygote divides by meiosis to form haploid spores that grow into haploid individuals.
