Phase Bacteria Growth Lag Cells Divide High Metabolism

Phases of bacterial growth include lag phase, log/exponential phase, stationary phase, and death/decline phase.

Las fases del crecimiento bacteriano son: latencia, logarítmica (exponencial), estacionaria y de muerte (declive).

Front Phases of bacteria growth
Back Lag phase:
cells don't divide, high metabolism, enzymes/intermediates are collected,

Log/Exponential phase:
doubling in each generation time, linear relationship bw time & log of no of cells.

Stationary phase:
nutrients are depleted or toxic metabolites accumulate, multiplication & death rates become equal

Death/Decline phase
