Recombinant Frequency Aka Calculated Cross Backcrossing Dihybrid Heterozygote

Recombinant frequency, also known as crossover frequency, is calculated by backcrossing a dihybrid heterozygote to a homozygous recessive and dividing the number of recombinant types by the total number of combinations.

R.F = (Rekombinante Typen)/(Summe aller Kombinationen).

Back Cross over

By backcrossing the dihybrid heterozygote to a homozygous recessive for both the genes.
