The slippery slope fallacy occurs when it's claimed that one event will inevitably lead to a series of negative, often extreme, consequences without sufficient evidence. It's related to the "excluded middle" or false dichotomy and can also be considered a form of non sequitur.
La fallacy: slippery slope (pendenza scivolosa) si verifica quando si afferma che un evento porterà inevitabilmente a una serie di conseguenze negative, spesso estreme, senza prove sufficienti a sostegno. Viene collegata all'idea del "falso dilemma" (excluded middle) e può anche essere considerata una forma di "non sequitur".
