Argument Reductio Ad Absurdum Disproving Showing Absurdity Logical

A 'reductio ad absurdum' fallacy disproves an argument by showing the absurdity of carrying it to a logical conclusion. This works only if the argument has faulty logic to begin with.

Fallacy reductio ad absurdum
Definition and Examples disproving an argument by showing the absurdity of following it through to a logical conclusion. Essentially, the argument is reduced to its absurdity. This works only if there is faulty logic in the argument to begin with.
