Emotional reasoning is demonstrated when someone bases their beliefs and actions on their feelings, such as believing they are an idiot because they feel like one, or procrastinating because they don't feel like doing something.

Life Example  "I feel like an idiot, so I really must be one." Or "I don't feel like doing this, so I'll put it off."
