The story of Buridan's donkey illustrates paralysis by analysis when faced with equal choices, such as choosing between a pile of hay and a bucket of water.
La historia del burro de Buridan ilustra la parálisis por análisis cuando se enfrenta a opciones iguales, como elegir entre un montón de heno y un cubo de agua.
Text | If I'm going in too many directions at once, think of Buridan’s donkey. The donkey is standing halfway between a pile of hay and a bucket of water. It keeps looking left and right, trying to decide between hay and water. Unable to decide, it eventually falls over and dies of hunger and thirst. |
