It is a fallacy to believe that unhappiness or lack of fulfillment stems from not being excellent at a specific activity. The true source of dissatisfaction lies in depending on external validation and recognition for self-worth, as no one can be perfect at everything.

Definition and Examples No one will ever be able to be an expert at everything, and if one needs accomplishments or aclaim (validation) for their self worth then they'll never be happy or satisfied.
