The prosecutor's fallacy is an error where a low probability of false matches is misinterpreted as a low probability of any false match being found.
Der Staatsanwaltschafts-Trugschluss ist ein Fehler, bei dem eine geringe Wahrscheinlichkeit von Falschpositiven fälschlicherweise als eine geringe Wahrscheinlichkeit interpretiert wird, dass überhaupt ein Falschpositiv gefunden wird.
