E's Rc Ps1 Light Ps2 Released Entering Atp

Front  non-cyclic photophosphorylation
Back

- utilises 2 photosystems (PS1 and PS2), ps1 absorbs light of higher wavelength that ps2, both absorb light, which excites e's at RC

- e's released from RC of PS2, entering an ETC where it forms ATP by chemiosis, e's lost from RC replaced via e's formed via photolysis

- e's also released from RC of PS1, entering another ETC and producing ATP via chemiosis, e's lost replaced by e's leaving ETC following PS2

- e's leaving ETC following PS1 are accepted, along with a proton, by coenzyme NADP, reducing it to form reduced NADP (provides H2 or reducing power in light independent reactions)
