T Cells Mediated Helper Activated Interleukins Clone Stimulate

Front cell mediated immunity 4.1.1(f) and (g)
Back - T lymphocytes respond to cells of organisms that have been changed (like by mutation or virus), cell mediated responses particularly important against viruses and early cancers;

- IN NS defence system, macrophages engulf/digest pathogens in phagocytosis, process antigens from pathogen to form APCs
- receptors on some T helper cells fit antigen, these activated and produce interleukins (stimulate more T cells to divide) forming clones of activated T helper cells (with right antigen for pathogen)
- clone T cells may develop into T memory cells, producing interleukins (that either stimulate phagocytosis or B cells division) or stimulate development of clone T killer cells
