Heart Blood Found Aorta Cartoid Receptors Provide Information

Front What are the two receptors which provide information that affect heart rate?
Back 1. Baroreceptors - detect changes in blood pressure. Found in the aorta, vena cava and cartoid arteries.

2. Chemoreceptors - Detects changes in the levels of chemicals in the blood e.g. Carbon dioxide. Found in the aorta, cartoid artery and the medulla. They are sensitive to changes in the pH of the blood.
