E o que me pareceu mais incrível, e que se encaixa perfeitamente no que estamos discutindo aqui no TED, é que lá, bem no meio dessa floresta, havia alguns painéis solares - os primeiros naquela parte do Equador - que serviam basicamente para bombear água para que as mulheres não precisassem descer para buscar.

And what was so amazing to me, and what fits right in with what we're all talking about here at TED, is that there, right in the middle of this rainforest, was some solar panels -- the first in that part of Ecuador -- and that was mainly to bring water up by pump so that the women wouldn't have to go down.
