Question

And there is for you in legal retribution [saving of] life, O you [people] of understanding, that you may become righteous.[64] وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْقِصَاصِ حَيَوٰةٌ يَٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ 179

Accepted Answer

[64] Or, ''that you may avoid [sin].'' al-Baqarah Part 02

Translation	And there is for you in legal retribution [saving of] life, O you [people] of understanding, that you may become righteous.[64]
