Cytoplasm/Cytosol Area Nucleus Cell Membrane Cytosol Semiliquid Portion

The cytoplasm encompasses the cytosol (the semi-fluid substance) and organelles located between the nucleus and cell membrane, with cyclosis referring to cytoplasmic streaming in eukaryotes.

The cytoplasm is the entire region between the nucleus and cell membrane, consisting of the cytosol (the fluid portion) and various organelles; cyclosis is the streaming movement of cytoplasm in eukaryotes.
