Notes | -(이)나 takes on various meanings depending on its usage. There are four distinct usages of -(이)나: listing of two or more choice options ('or'); denoting a second-best option ('or something'); marking greater-than-expected quantity ('as many as'); expressing approximation or generalization. -(이)나 attaches to nouns. The -이나 form comes after consonants; -나 follows vowels. -나 can follow verbs nominalized by -기. |
