The pituitary gland is located at the base of the hypothalamus and has an anterior section producing hormones like FSH, and a posterior section storing and releasing hypothalamic hormones like ADH.
La glándula pituitaria se encuentra en la base del hipotálamo y se divide en dos secciones: la pituitaria anterior, que produce hormonas como FSH, y la pituitaria posterior, que almacena y libera hormonas hipotalámicas como la ADH.
