To investigate how one factor affects the rate of photosynthesis, keep all conditions constant except one, suspend pond weed in water, allow it to acclimatise, and measure oxygen concentration using a data logger. The gradient of an oxygen concentration/time graph approximates the rate of photosynthesis.
