Gastric Phase Glands Swallowed Food Semi Digested Protein Activate

During the gastric phase, ingested food and semi-digested protein stimulate gastric glands to secrete gastrin and histamine, both of which further enhance gastric secretions, accounting for two-thirds of the total secretion.
