Radioactive Carbon Form Plant Describe Process Autoradiography Sugar

Autoradiography involves using radioactive carbon-14 to form radioactive sugars during photosynthesis, which are then tracked by placing the plant (after freezing in liquid nitrogen) onto photographic film to visualize their distribution.

A autorradiografia envolve o uso de carbono-14 radioativo para formar açúcares radioativos durante a fotossíntese, que são então rastreados colocando a planta (após congelamento em nitrogênio líquido) em filme fotográfico para visualizar a sua distribuição.

Front Describe the process of autoradiography
Back Use Carbon 14 therefore radioactive carbon will be used to form a radioactive form of sugar during photosynthesis.
Use a radioactive tracer to see where substances have spread to. The plant is killed by freezing it in liquid nitrogen. Whole plant is placed on photogenic film
