Axons synapse on symp/post cell bodies in cervical sympathetic trunk ganglia 7. Axons leave sympathetic trunk via cardiac (splanchnic) nerves 8. Axons enter cardiopulmonary plexus 9. Axons enter heart and innervate myocardium. Functions: 1. Increase heart rate 2. Increase force of contraction 3. Vasodilate coronary arteries |
